The Church of East Saint Louis was founded as the Community Mission Church in Nineteen Hundred Sixty-Six. The Church of East Saint Louis is an Interdependent and Interdenominational Ministry. The Church of East Saint Louis is a member of The Fellowship of Christian Churches International.
About Bishop Moore
Lemuel Nathaniel Moore was born to the union of Bishop Lemuel N. Moore, Sr. and Mrs. Roxalana (McCoy) Moore on November Twenty-Third Nineteen Hundred Fifty Six. Bishop Moore is the husband of the Lady Joyce Ann Starks-Moore and is father of daughters Gjonese Timay, Jujuana Nicole, Saundreah (Dunum), DeNeya Joi (Rodgers), Bristikah, and, one son Andrae. He is grandfather to many sons and daughters and a multitude of godchildren. Bishop Moore has been a consultant to many fortune five hundred companies along with the United States Department of Defense. Bishop Moore has a License in Real Estate and has been granted Doctorates of Divinity and Theology.
Bishop Moore accepted his call to ministry in the nineteen seventies and was ordained by the hands of Bishop Chandler David Owens. Bishop Moore is a third-generation pastor from his grandfathers, Nurustis Alexander Moore, Andrew George McCoy, and his father, Bishop Lemuel Moore, Sr. Bishop Moore has served several ministry boards and committees for upbuilding of the body of Christ.
Bishop Moore has an Apostolic presence and yields to the voice of the Lord. He has been a member of the Joint College of African American Pentecostal Bishops since Nineteen Hundred Ninety Eight and was consecrated a Bishop of the Lord’s Church Two Thousand Five by the hand of the Right Reverend Doctor David Michael Copeland and the College of Bishops.
